Looking for a mini-preview of law school? Visit
http://www.landmarkcases.org and read some of the cases on there.
You can go through all the great summaries and resources on that site for each case; however, for a real preview, I recommend that you click "Full Text of the Majority Opinion" and then click "HTML Version" under the (majority) Opinion link at the top. Although sometimes abridged in casebooks, this is most likely the type of material you will be reading every day in preparation of class.
While reading each case, try to "brief" them by taking notes of the important Facts (background of the case), the legal Issue or Question that the case will turn on, the precise Holding or ruling of the case, and the Rationale of how the court got there. For more information visit
