We were surprised to find that over 75% of the personal statements that we have edited had at least one of following errors in it.

These three errors were:

Although versus While

Because versus Since

To versus In Order To

To find out more about how to properly use each word or phrase, visit our article at http://www.gradvocates.com/blog/2010...tement-errors/

Where can I find entry level legal volunteer work?

I'm currently a college graduate (I graduated from college in 2008 with a BA) who is working in a non-legal field for a few years until I can save up and go to law school. I was wondering if there are any ways to get my feet wet in the legal field by volunteering pro bono- it seems like most volunteer positions are for either law students or law school grads. I don't have the luxury of leaving my job or my current salary to work as a $12/hour legal aid/intern, but I want to gain some experience to improve my law school resume and (best case scenario) make myself a more desirable applicant for jobs in the legal field down the line.
